Required iPhone & iPod touch Screenshot Upgrade for Retina Display

When you create or update your apps in iTunes Connect, you must upload screenshots that are high-resolution. We require your screenshots as high-resolution images so that your app is optimized for the Retina display.

The requirements for high-resolution images are 960 x 640, 960 x 600, 640 x 960, or 640 x 920 pixels. Images must be at least 72 dpi, in the RGB color space, and the file must be .jpeg, .jpg, .tif, .tiff, or .png. You can update your screenshot files at any time in iTunes Connect.

New Notification for Binaries Exceeding Cellular Network Download Size Limit

Admin and Technical users will now be notified if your resulting binary size for the App Store exceeds the cellular network download size limit of 20MB. Exceeding the limit requires your app to be downloaded over Wi-Fi. This information can help you determine if you want to resubmit your binary in order to reduce the size of your app.

But we can’t take retina screen shots with apps made on, so… please support retina graphics or we can’t publish.

What? What is Michael B talking about? Cant we publish apps anymore? :/ I published one to the app store only one week ago, and i had no problems…

he is making mistake. Tobias, that’s correct. you can still publish apps made by iBuildApp. it’s just Michael B that misunderstood the post and decided that retina display and retina images for publishing are the same.

Ok. Thank you :) Can I ask you a question “iBuildApp”? I have made an iPad app with iBuildApp, and I have tested it on my iPad. Altough I have pressed the “Remove IBuildApp label from my app” a iBuildApp label is shown in the app. Therefor I dont want to publish my app to App Store. It would seam unprofessional… :/ How can I fix this? If I cant, when will you fix it?

just published your app and use new build.
also don’t forget to close (completely, kill the process) and open the current app once you check the remove label check box.

How do we get screen shots for our apps? I am having trouble with publishing my clients app on to iTunes connect. iTunes connect requires at least one screen shot.
